Pegboards are an add on module for Nodes module building system. They are designed to to contain all of the things you love about Nodes! From the omnidirectionality, to the varying sizes, to the Omni Connector. Pegboards are there to help you maximize your space, ensuring that you can take advantage of every surface.

How Pegboards Work

Pegboards are an extemely versatile solution to your organizational needs. They allow you to maximize your space, by allowing you to attach containers and organizational systems to any surface using the Omni Connector.

Pegboards are a system of cross shaped openings that align every 2cm and are a modification of Veneer <link to veneer>. As always with Nodes modules, they are omni directional. It doesn't matter which way you arrange them, they will always be ready to accept attachments!.

Containers Compatible

Pegboards are compatible with containers. All you need is the special containers section that has the attatchments for receiving the universal pegs and voila!! You can attach any size container within a 5mm size range to your pegboard.

Skådis® Compatible

Pegboards are compatible with most IKEA Skådis attachments. This was a complete accident, as we found out later that both systems use a 2cm standard for their coordinate systems.

Sometimes its better to be lucky than good ;)

Why use pegboards


Pegboards are like the best kind of organized chaos, you get to keep everything within reach and off your workspace. Whether you're in a garage, kitchen, or craft room, pegboards make it easy to see what you have, grab what you need, and keep your space looking tidy. No more digging through drawers or losing that one screwdriver (again). Just hang it, grab it, and get back to doing what you love.

 
 
 

How to use Pegboards

Pegboards are incredibly easy to use, because they follow all the same principles of Nodes.

They are just like Veneer link to veneer, all you have to do is use them like an external structural member and layer them on the outside. Then comes the hard part... picking all of your attachments and arranging all of your stuff!

You'll need to pick out all your own containers to attach to Nodes, if you're looking for a commercial solution, then you can head over to IKEA and grab almost any Skådis® accessories. If you're looking for a more custom DIY fit, check out Containers <link to containers>. Containers will allow you to build a container of any size (+-5mm) ranging from a small bowl to a shoebox, or just a flat rack to store your stuff.
